Bulkcarrier adrift off Shiono Misaki
Coming from Tianjin, the "DD Vanguard" experienced engine trouble and was adrift south of Shiono Misaki, in the Philippine Sea in position 32 39 N 135 58 E on Feb 18, 2018, at 10 p.m. The "DD Vanguard" arrived at Wakayama on Feb 22 at 10.44 a.m. and sailed on Feb 27.
Collision off Chittagong
On Mar 18 the unloaded bulkcarrier "Yin Ping" (IMO: 9397690), destined for Mongla with an ETA of Mar 19, was in collision with the "DD Vanguard" at anchorage A at the port of Chittagong.
