A 28-year-old Frenchman from Guinea-Bissau has disembarked from the 'Aurora' at the port of Tema, Ghana after his attempt to stowaway was foiled on his arrest at high season on Oct 3, 2021. The man whad illicitly boarded the vessel via a mooring rope in the Port of Bissau on Sep 13 with the hope of going to the United Kingdom, but was detected by the crew of the ship on Sep 15. He was disembarked in Tema due to proximity indicating that the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GPHA) had completed its processes and handed the culprit over to the Ghana Immigration Service to be repatriated to his home country.

The 'Aurora', en route from Ijmuiden to Naples, with 10 crew members on board, suffered fuel oil system trouble in position 50 47 00 N, 000 53 39 E, on Jan 25, 2020, at 08.30 a.m. After the engine issue was fixed, the vessel continued its voyage at 9 a.m. with an ETA as of Feb 2.

On Mar 23, 2011, a small fire broke out aboard the "Wisaforest" in the Sea of Bothnia 33 miles off Raumalta on her way to Raumalle. A couple of drums filled with paint had caught fire. Coast Guard helicopters from Turku and Hanko transported fire fighters with special ship fire training towards the vessel, but the fire could finally be extinguished without extern help.
