Uto-Express

On May 16, 2011 the "Utö Express" was used to disembark the passengers from the crippled "MSC Opera" (IMO: 9250464), with their luggage jointly with the "Södertörn". The cruise ship had been crippled off Gotland before and towed to Nynäshamn where it had anchored in the foremidday. After they were landed in the port and passed the customs, buses took them to the airport where charter flights were waiting for further transport to England. Some other buses will transport passengers to Germany and the Netherlands. Technicians of STX yard were on board and trying to fix the problem.
