Collision off St. Petersburg
On Jan 25, 2018, at 9.30 a.m. the bulkcarrier "S-Bronco", having sailed from Studstrupværkets on Jan 13, struck the "Mudyug" during ice channeling in the Morskoy Seaway in the St. Petersburg approaches. The bulk carrier sustained bow damages two meters above the waterline. There was no visible damages on the icebreaker. Both ships continued moving through the ice, and the "S Bronco" was berthed at the Gutuevs Quay in St. Petersburg the same day. The "Mudyug" was moored on Kronshtadt Anchorage.
