Deadly work accident
The police in Nordland was notified about a work accident on the 'Asbjørn Selsbane' on Feb 7, 2020, at 8.25 p.m.155 nautical miles west of Mo in Rana. A 65-year-old man died instantly. The police so far could not say anything about the cause of the accident. The vessel headed to Bodø, where the police will conduct forensic investigations and interrogations. The crew will be taken care of by the crisis team. It berthed on Feb 8 at 1.30 p.m.
