Suger carrier hard aground
The "Asakaze" ran aground on Dec 8, 2015, at 7.25 Tp.m. east of Minamichita between Minamichita and Himaga island at the western coast of Honshu island. The ship was 10 miles off its port of destination Kinuura then with a cargo of 10000 tons of raw sugar on board. It had come from Bangkok.
