Engineer tested positive for COVID-19 - crew quarantined
The engineer of the 'Norilskiy Nickel' was tested psitive for the corona virus while the ship was en route from Murmansk to Dudinka. Before, medical authorities had been tracking the contacts of an infected person and found out that his neighbour passenger in train had been the engineer. The ship berthed at Arkhangelsk, and the whole crew was taken off the ship and quarantined. The ship was disinfected, manned with a relief crew and resumed its voyage to Dudinka on March 31, 2020.
