Medevac off Motril
En route from Derince to Durban, the 'Nord Topaz' requested the medical evacuation of a crew member, who had fallen ill, while the ship was sailing 30 nautical miles off Motril. The International Radiomedical Center recommended doing so by sea transport. The RCC of Salvamento MarÃtimo in AlmerÃa center mobilized the SAR boat 'Salvamar Gienah' to disembark the patient and arranged an ambulance in port for further transport to a hospital for medical care.
