Oil spill in Rotterdam
The 'Nordsymphony', while bunkering at Rotterdam, where it had arrived enroute from Flotta on Oct 31 at 8.30 a.m., spilt two tons of fuel onto its deck and into the port waters in the run of the day. The Portuguese maritime inspection office has commenced collecting evidence and liaising with their Netherlands counterpart regarding the incident. The tanker left Rotterdam on Nov 2 and headed to Ust-Luga, where it berthed on Nov 6.
