Fire on trawler in Sula
On March 31, 2018, a fire broke out aboard the "Nordkap" which was berthed at the quay of the Fiskerstrand Yard in Sula, at noon. No one was injured, but some crew members have been exposed to smoke and were checked by health personnel. The fire brigade in Sula sent smoke divers on board to extinguish the fire. The ship left the port again and berthed in Sovik on Apr 7 before heading towards the Norwegian Sea on Apr 8 at 7.20 a.m.
