Chittagong-based SR Shipping has been linked to its first tanker as it continues its bargain basement hunt for cheap tonnage. Brokers note that SR Shipping, one of the most active outfits in South Asia this year, has added the 8,831 dwt chemical tanker Dong-A Rigel from Korea´s Dong A Tanker for some $12m.
