Detention in Istanbul
The 'Fei Hun Ye' was detained in Istanbul on Nov 28, 2025, by inspectors of the Mediterranean MoU. Inspectors carried out a detailed inspection. They remarked 12 deficiencies, three of which being regarded as seriously and grounds for a detention. The checks had covered the accommodation and galley, engine room, navigation bridge, outside decks and forecastle and the steering room, while communication equipment. The ship was released again on Dec 1 and left the port enroute to Beirut with an ETA as of Dec 4.
