Charer hire for three years
Seamec on July 4, 201, announced an arrangement with its promoter company HAL Offshore for charter hire of the "Seamec II" for three years. Seamec's promoter HAL Offshore has been awarded a letter of intent by ONGC for charter hire of a multi support vessel for three years. It has been agreed between Seamec and HAL for chartering Seamec-II to HAL along with the marine crew. The total contract value for three years is about $27.69 million. The vessel will be deployed after the completion of some regulatory formalities. The stock gained 6.6 per cent ₹108.1 on the BSE.

The "Seamac II" was offhire on May 10, 2011, and will move to Goa for statutory dry docking for a period about 8 days. Further deployment upon completion of dry dock will be intimated in due course according to Seamac Ltd.
