Tsakos takes BP aframax pair
Greece’s Tsakos has been revealed by brokers as the buyer of two BP aframaxes. The 114,000 dwt sisterships British Merlin and British Curlew are being sold for $14.3m and $15m each respectively.

British Merlin changed destination
In the evening of Aug 18 the "British Merlin" wass under way again at a speed of 12.5 knots, with Novorossiysk as port of destination instead of Malta. Most probably the charter was changed and the vessel was proceeding at dead ahead speed towards Malta, awaiting owner’s or charterer’s orders.
