Offshore ship called at Brest due to diesel trouble
After its departure from Flushing on March 28, 2019, the "Ocean Duke" suffered propulsion problems in connection with the ship's diesel and had to divert to Brest where it berthed in the 5th basin of the commercial port on March 29 at 5 p.m. The trouble was thought to have been caused by the presence of bacteria. The "Ocean Duke" had the destination Valletta. An analysis of its fuel will be carried out which may result in a drain of its fuel and a new bunkering.
