Ship sold and ban lifted
On Jan 31, 2014, it was announced that the "Maersk Vancouver" was sold by the owners IMTC (International Maritime Transport Casablanca, Morocco) to the London based company Borealis. The ban of the port authority Wilhelmshaven, where the ship was berthed since Aug 30, 2013, was lifted. Half of the crew returned on board, others got paid their wages. It was expected the ship would return to sea in a few weeks.
