Allision in the Kiel Canal
On Feb 5, 2017, at 5.40 p.m. the "Heluan", enroute from Bremerhaven to Norrköping, allided with pilings at Königsförde while transiting the Kiel Canal eastbound. The stern which hit against the poles suffered slight damage. After investigations it berthed in the locks in Kiel-Holtenau at 9.45 p.m. and entered the waters of the Baltic Sea at 11.40 p.m., ETA Norrköping Feb 7, 1 a.m.
