Trawler listing at shipyard's slipway
The "Polar - UK 150" suddenly started to list to starboard side on the slipway of the Shipyard van Laar Ltd. in Ijmuiden in the morning of June 8, 2018, when being pulled out of the water. The 32-m-vessel was leaining against the quay and kept from tilting further. The ship had sailed from Amsterdam and arrived at the yard at 10.45 a.m. for maintenance. She left the yard again on June 11 at 9.30 p.m. and headed to Amsterdam, before setting sail towards the Northsea the same day.
