Allision following engine failure
The 'MSC Sarya III' allided with a wharf in Trois-Rivières during the mooring manoever on March 11, 2026. What was initially intended to be a refueling operation on the St. Lawrence River ended with an engine failure. Tugs subsequently escorted the container ship, which was at anchor, to wharf 11, and a pilot was then called in to assist with the relocation. The circumstances of the incident were still unclear. The engine failure caused the ship to make contact with the wharf. The cause of the initial engine failure was also unknown. As of March 13, the vessel remained stationary in the port. Nildedutch Impala saved nine shipwrecked fishermen
Nine crew members onboard an the "Yufeng 102" reported to be in distress few days at about 133 NM from Bonthe and 125 NM from Freetown have been rescued by the "Niledutch Impala" from a life raft. The rescued were in good health. Their vessel was reported to have sunk, and three other fishing vessels, the "Boffa", "Kum Wong 106" and "Yuan Yu" had been tasked to continue to establish contact with the ship which rescued the crew members on ist way from Lobito to Antwerp, ETA Sep 7, 2013.
