Jun 18, 2015 11:20

Four people were handed over from the "Gaschem Bremen" to authorities of the National Institute of Migration in the port of Lazaro Cardenas on June 17, 2015, after they were taken aboard the tanker in the Pacific between the ports of Lazaro Cardenas and Acapulco. The four rescued had suffered problems with their boat, due to a storm and the subsequent hurricane "Carlos". The castaways, allegedly 4 fishermen, three of Ecuadorian nationality and one Colombian, had been adrift for seven days when they were rescued. The tanker which was coming from Puerto La Cruz, Venezuela, had 8000 tons of ammonia on board which were destined for the company Sadcom West.
