The "NK Pearl" was detained in Olbia on Nov 26, 2025, with 18 deficiencies, ten of which being regarded as seriously and grounds for a detention: 1) Certificate & Doc - Load Lines Invalid 2) Certificate & Doc - International Air Pollution Certificate Invalid 3) Certificate & Doc - International Oil Pollution Certificate Invalid 4) Certificate & Doc - Safety Management Certificate Invalid 5) Certificate & Doc - Cargo Ship Safety Radio Invalid 6) Certificate & Doc - Cargo Ship Safety Equipment Invalid 7) Certificate & Doc - Cargo Ship Safety Construction Invalid 8)) Fire safety - Fixed fire exthinguishing installation Not as required 9) Fire safety - Evaluation of crew performance Lack of familiarity 10) ISM - Ism certificate Not as required. The vessel was released again on Dec 24. The inspection led to a refusal of access to Paris-Mou harbours.
