Approach of suspicious speedboat
The 'MSC Panaya' reported a suspicious speedboat with six or seven men on board. The speedboat remained at a distance that made it impossible to see whether it carried ladders of weapons. The small craft never approached too close and it remains unclear if this was an intended act of piracy. The ship has been moored on Bonny River Anchorage since Feb 4, 2021, enroute from Lome to Port Harcourt.
