First saltie arrives in Twin Ports - The Cyprus-flagged Federal Leda passed under the Duluth Aerial Lift Bridge at 7:10 a.m. on Monday to be the first oceangoing freighter into the harbor for 2011. The saltie was headed to the Cenex Harvest States elevator in Superior, where it will take on a load of 21,000 short tons of durum wheat bound for Italy.
