Ship disabled in Istanbul Strait
On Jan 28, 2018, at 11.30 a.m. the "Talia H", en route from Volos to Tuzla in ballast, experienced a technical failure during the transit of the Istanbul Strait. The vessel dropped anchor in position 40 02 30.02N, 26 19 2.95E at Karanlik Liman anchorage. The passage permission was temporarily cancelled by the strait authority, until completion of permanent repairs. The ship later proceeded to Tuzla where it berthed on Jan 30 at 8.30 a.m. She sailed from Tuzla on Feb 21, next boudn to Naples.
