Cargo ship saved from running aground
on Jan 6, 2014, the "Rusich 1" was in danger of running aground near Lisbon after dragging anchor in heavy seas generated by winter storm Hercules in the North Atlantic. The engines kicked in just in the nick of time to get the ship in a safe distance off the coast again. It entered port and docked at the Barreiro terminal at 6.40 p.m. The ship had left the Severnaya Verf Shipyard in St. Petersburg on Dec 14, 2013.
