Small oil spill on the Delft
On Dec 4, 2017, some liters heating oil was spilt from the deck of the "Groningerland" in the Ratsdelft in Emden. 40 men of the fire brigade laid out oil booms and absorbant pads to keep the oil from spreading. On june 6, 2010, the "Groningerland" encountered engine trouble and had to be taken in tow by the tug "Gruno V" from Borkum to Emden where the ship was moored at 1.40 p.m. and actually still remains.
