Crew reported fire, water ingress and failures, ship detained
On May 8, 2014, the crew of the "Blue Rose" reported a fire on board, a mechanical failure and water ingress in cargo hold 2. The vessel was anchored on Pollonia roads, east of Milos island. The Greek Cpastguard and rescuers found the vessel to be in no danger of sinking, but not seaworthy. The vessel was detained regarding these issues.
