Oct 31, 2014 09:15

Coming from Klaipeda, the master of the "Monte" remarked a propeller problem underway to Lübeck. As no dock space is available in this port, once the ship berthed on OCt 18, 2014, the ballast tanks were filled with 1500 tons water to get access to the propulsion gear above the water. It was found out that the propeller had suffered corrosion damage. The works were completed on Oct 23 so far that the ship headed for the Severnaya Verf Shipyard in St. Petersburg, where it berthed on Oct 29.
