Dock worker injured in mooring accident in Hamburg
A 37-year old dock worker lost a finger of his right hand while mooring the "MSC Lucy" at the Predöhl Quay in Hamburg on Nov 19, 2014. His hand was caught between a winch and a mooring wire. A colleague remarked the accident and activated the emergency stop of the winch. The man was treated by medicals on scene. The glove of the injured with the finger still inside was found and handed over to the ambulance staff. In Hospital it was attempted to fix it again. The police launched an investigation.
