Fuel pumpe failure off Brighton
The "Arklow Raven" went adrift due to a fuel pump failure, in position 050 30 17.0N 000 10 39.0W, on Aug 8, 2019, at 8.25 p.m. en route from Shoreham to Rotterdam with 4.057 tonnes of barley and a crew of seven on board 20 miles south of Brighton. At 10 p.m.the fuel pump defect was repaired, and the vessel continued the voyage. It berthed in the Wilhelmina Port in Rotterdam on Aug 10 at 12.20 a.m.
