The "Meganisi", while departing Tracy, sustained a bridge control failure, causing the main engine to shut down, on Dec 8, 2018 at 10.50 p.m. enroute to Gibraltar. The crew used local controls to restart the engine, and the tanker proceeded to Lanoraie anchorage, Quebec, for repairs and sailed on Dec 9 at 8.50 a.m. with an ETA at Gibraltar as of Dec 18.

The "Meganisi" allided with a pier at the Jose Venezuela Terminal on Aug 25, 2018, during mooring operations upon arrival from Corpus Christi with a cargo of naphtha. The vessel was proceeding to the South Pier to berth as instructed, with a pilot on board and three tugs assisting. As the vessel was smoothly moving into position alongside the pier, it touched a fender which collapsed upon contact. The berthing was aborted, and the vessel was instructed by the Terminal to move to a different berth. The tanker was then moved to Jose's East dock for discharging. The allision shut the South dock, one of Jose Offshore Platform's three oil berths, East, West and South, used to ship crude oil from the Orinoco Belt, Venezuela's main producing region, and to discharge imported diluents. Jose also has two monobuoy systems, which continued operating normally.

Scorpio Tankers Inc. announced on Jan. 28 that it has entered into agreements to sell its two, 2004 built, LR1 product tankers, Noemi and Senatore, for approximately $44.0 million en bloc. The sales are expected to close in March and April 2014
