Bulk carrier Argyroula has been released at the UK Port of Hull after failing a Port State Control (PSC) inspection for cleanliness. Argyroula, sailing under the flag of Marshall Islands, had three deficiencies all of which were related to poor hygiene and a lack of cleanliness. The ship was reported as having an unhygienic gally, being dirty and showing signs of vermin. Argyroula was detained on April 5, 2017 and was released shortly thereafter on April 13, 2017.
