Cargo ship suffered engine failure and container loss in North Pacific
The "Wehr Singapore" was disabled after an engine failure on Nov 25, 2015, at 1 a.m. in pos. 42 32N 155 43E, about 310 miles east of the Kuril Archipelago in the North Pacific. The ship was en route from Balboa to Busan, ETA Nov 29. After the crew fixed the problem, the vessel resumed sailing in the morning of Nov 25. Six or more containers were lost, reported drifting in the vicinity of pos. 42 39N 155 45E.
