Maersk to upgrade 16 S-Class vessels with higher bridges and higher capacity

Maersk Line has started to increase the TEU-capacity of its 16 'S' class vessels by raising their bridges by three additional decks. The navigational 'line of sight' improvement from the bridge will allow another tier of containers to be loaded on deck, thereby increasing the overall container capacity.
