Fish carrier saved skipper
On Oct 25, 2010, the "Ro Master" saved the skipper of a 40 ft-fishing vessel which had caught fire the previous day off Halten. The fisherman had no time to radio a distress signal but escaped on a raft which drifted onto the shore of the island Roan, where he was sighted one day after his ordeal. His ship has presumably sunk.
