MSC ASLI 9162631
On Feb 9, 2011, at 6.30 a.m. the "MSC Asli" was in collision with the 25 m long Dutch f/v "Cornelia Johannes - VD-77", 84 gt (built 1964; CS: PGGP), 45 kilometres off Vlieland in the Northsea. No injuries reported. The container ship which came from Antwerp, suffered hull damage in the stern region. The f/v was damaged at the bow and lost one net. The "MSC Asli" continued its voyage to Gothenburg. The "Cornelia Johannes" proceeded towards Den Oever for investigation of damage. The MRCC Den Helder sent the coast guard vessel "Ievoli Black" towards the casualty to escort it towards Den Oever.
