Search for missing crew member stopped on Nov 11
Since Nov 9, 2012, a 27-year old crew member of the "Santa Pelagia” was missing. While the ship was enroute Baltimore-Colon the ship's steward was found to be missing in the North Atlantic at 6.20 a.m. that day. The Police Hamburg started investigations as the ship is homeported in Hamburg. The Coastguard started a thorough search in the area between Baltimore and Colon which was stopped 58 hours later and had also involved ships in that region.
