Tanker saved more than 300 migrants
On June 10, 2014, short before midnight, the 18 crew members of the "Robert Maersk" saved about 300 migrants from a sinking boat. The boat was in about midway between the Libyan coast and Malta. At 2 a.m. on June 11 the 300 people, including women and young children, were on board. The "Robert Maersk" was coming from Antwerp and was now heading towards the port of Pozzalo in Sicily, to disembark the refugees there.
