Crew member with suspected coronavirus disembarked at Gioia Tauro for treatment
A suspected case of coronavirus was reported aboard the 'MSC Amanda F' after she berthed in Gioia Tauro on April 1, 2020. The man was to be disembarked at the port and hospitalized in the hospital of Reggio Calabria. Then the ship was ordered to leave port and to anchor after it was temporarily moored at the Ponente quay and not inside the Container Terminal.
