On March 10, 2026, a medical evacuation of an injured crew member was requested from the 'MSC Amalfi', en route from Malaga to Valencia, about ten nautical miles east of Valencia. The MRCC of Salvamento MArÃtimo in Valencia deployed a Helimer 220 helicopter, which hoisted the victim and transported him to the La Fe Hospital heliport for further medical care in the hospital.
