Medevac in Arabian Sea
On Nov 2, 2022, at 11.30 a.m. the 'Protector St. John' notified the ICG Station Jakhau about a medical emergency on board, with a 29 year old Pilippine crew member vomiting blood, while en route from Pipavav to Qatar. The Coast Guard sent the speed boat 'C 409' frm Jakhau, which rendezvoused with the vessel at 1 p.m. The pateient was medevaced and treated on board. The boat reached Jakhjau at 3 p.m., and the man was transported to the Oovernment Hospital in aliya for further medical care.
