Nehir suspected for oil pollution
The "Nehir" was suspected to have polluted a number of Bulgarian Black Sea beaches with oil. The ship was passing the Bulgarian coast in international waters on July 22, 2017, en route from Istanbul to Chornomorsk. During the passage, the crew dumped oily water into the sea. Ukrainian authorities were already warned and asked to assist in the investigation.
