Vroon Celebrates Second Ship Delivery This Week
SICILIAN EXPRESS joins Vroon's bulk fleet. The fourth in a series of 92.500 dwt bulk carriers was delivered on Jan. 4, 2012 to Vroon BV of the Netherlands. The ship, like its three preceding sisters, was built as the Cosco Dalian Shipyard in China. Owned by Vroon, she will be managed by Fleet Management Ltd of Hong Kong. The arrestingly painted Post-Panamax bulker has a length overall of 229.2 metres and a gross tonnage of 51,209 grt. Her MAN B&W engines propel her to a speed of 13.5 knots.
