Rudder failure off Gallipoli
The 'Rise 1905' suffered a rudder failure in front of Gallipoli while ballasting from Yalova to Nea Karvali on Feb 6, 2024. The Çanakkale VTS Center deployed the tugs 'Kurtarma 3' and 'Kurtarma 14' to assist, which took the ship in tow. It was safely anchored at Karanlık Liman for investigations and repais.
