Ferry suffered technical issue with engine
The 'Argyle', serving on the route Wemyss Bay - Rothesay, suffered a technical issue with the aft engine on the morning of Feb 5. As a consequence, the scheduled departures from Rotheseay at 07:05 a.m., 09:05 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. and from Wemyss Bay at 08:05 a.m., 10:05 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. were cancelled., with the remainder of the scheduled crossings following. On Feb 6, the repairs and sea trials were ongoing and as a result, the following sailings wre cancelled: Departure Rothesay - 07:05 a.m., 09:05 a.m.; Departuire Wemyss Bay 0805 a.m.,10:05 a.m. If the sea trials were successful, the ferry was expected to resume its service with the departure at 11:00 a.m. from from Rothesay.

The technical issue with the ship has been resolved on Dec 23. Therefore, normal two-vessel service resumed from 1.:05 p.m. from Wemyss Bay.
