As a consequence, the following sailings have been cancelled: - Departure Wemyss Bay 10:05 a.m. and 12:15 p.m.; - Departure Rothesay 11:00 a.m. A further update was to be provided as soon as possible.

On June 8, the 'Argyle', serving on the route Wemyss Bay-Rothesay, suffered technical issue with the aft main engine, which needed to be investigated. As a consequence, the scheduled departures from Rothesay at 1:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m. and05:00 p.m. and fromtWemyss Bay at 2:05 p.m., 4:05 p.m. and 6:05 p.m. had to be cancelled. After the issue was resolved and folliowing a sea trial, the vessel finally resumed its service with the scheduled 7:00 p.m. sailing departing from Rothesay.

On the morning of March 3, 2025, the 'Argyle', sailing on the route Wemyss Bay-Rothesay, suffered a technical issue which needed to be investigated at the quay in Wemyss Bay. As a consequence, the scheduled departure from the port at 07:15 a.m. was delayed.

n order to carry out a full repair of the forward engine, the 'Argyle' required the attendance of shore engineers to fit and replace spare parts on Dec 20. As a result, the following sailings have been cancelled: Departures from Rothesay – 07:05 a.m., 09:05 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 1:05 p.m., 3:00 p.m., 5:00 p.m., 7:00 p.m. and from Wemyss Bay at 08:05 a.m., 10:05 a.m., 12:15 p.m., 2:05 p.m., 4:05 p.m., 6:05 p.m. and 8:05 p.m. The fery 'Bute' will operate the following sailings: Departures from Rothesay at 06:25 a.m., 08:05 a.m., 10:00 a.m., 12:15 p.m., 2:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. and from Wemyss Bay at 07:15 a.m., 09:05 a.m., 11:15 a.m., 1:05 p.m., 3:05 p.m., 5:05 p.m. and 7:05 p.m. The last departures of the day will be at 6:00 p.m. from Rothesay and 7:05 p.m. from Wemyss Bay. The technical issue with the ship has been resolved on Dec 23. Therefore, normal two-vessel service resumed from 1.:05 p.m. from Wemyss Bay.
