103 migrants rescued from three boats
On March 19 and March 20, several departures of migrant boats were reported to the CROSS Gris-Nez in the Strait of Dover. To monitor the boats, the following resources were deployed: - the rescue vessel Ridens; - the patrol boat 'Cormoran' - the surveillance vessel 'Oyapock'. During the night, the Dunkirk signal station reported the presence of a migrant boat in the Dunkirk-East sector to the CROSS, which deployed the 'Ridens' and the Action Air Environnement aircraft to maintain surveillance while awaiting the arrival of the rescue vessel. Once on scene, the 'Ridens' rescued 21 people and disembarked them at the dock in Calais, where they were cared for by shore based rescue services. A little later, the MRCC in Ostend informed the CROSS Gris-Nez that it had deployed the patrol boat 'Castor' to monitor a migrant boat that had departed from Belgium. To relieve the 'Castor', CROSS Gris-Nez deployed the 'Oyapock,' which was subsequently relieved by the 'Cormoran', which rescued four people and also disembarked them in Calais. On March 20, 2026, both the 'Minck' and 'Ridens,' were deployed to assist more migrant boats, aloong with the 'Oyapock' and the patrol boats 'Cormoran' and 'Jeanne Barret'. During the night, the MRCC in Ostend informed the CROSS Gris-Nez that it had deployed the 'Orka' to monitor a migrant boat that had departed from Belgium. To relieve the 'Orka', the CROSS Gris-Nez deployed the 'Oyapock', which was subsequently relieved by the 'Cormoran'. Following an engine failure on the migrant boat, the EDO was launched and rescued 78 people. They were disembarked at the dock in Calais and cared for by shore-based rescue services.
46 migrants rescued in five operations
On March 9, several departures of migrant boats were reported to the CROSS Gris-Nez in the Strait of Dover. To monitor the boats, the following resources were deployed by the CROSS Gris-Nez: - the rescue ships 'Minck' and 'Ridens'; - the patrol boats 'Jeanne Barret' and 'Géranium'; - the surveillance vessel VSMP 'Rondache'; - the lifeboat 'ESMP 03' from the Calais Maritime and Port Security Platoon (PSMP). Around 8:00 a.m., the Border Police (PAF) reported to the CROSS the presence of a migrant boat in the Aa Canal at Gravelines. The CROSS initially deployed the 'Jeanne Barret' to monitor the boat and be ready to provide assistance if needed. It was relieved by the VCSM 'Rondache' and the 'ESMP 03' at around 9:30 a.m. At around 10:00 a.m., the CROSS deployed the 'Ridens' to relieve the 'Rondache' and the 'ESMP 03'. Around 11:00 a.m., the boat headed towards Gravelines beach to pick up more migrants, but suffered an engine failure and was therefore no longer able to attempt the Channel crossing. However, all people on board categorically refused the assistance offered by the 'Ridens', which continued its surveillance until mid-afternoon. It was only from 4:50 p.m. onwards that some migrants requested assistance. The 'Ridens' rescued 13 people and then headed towards Calais to disembark them. The migrants were taken into custody by state land services around 8:45 p.m. In parallel with this initial rescue, the CROSS deployed the 'Minck' to relieve the 'Ridens'. Around 7:30 p.m., the 'Minck' rescued five migrants. 14 other people remained on board and continued to refuse assistance. The precarious vessel eventually ran aground on the beach. The CROSS then requested that the 'Minck' and the security forces conduct a reconnaissance of the coastline and the area where the boat had run aground, to ensure that all the migrants had reached land. Around 12:20 a.m., the 'Minck' disembarked the five rescued migrants in Dunkirk, where they were taken into custody by land-based rescue services. In total, the CROSS deployed state resources in four operations involving boats attempting to cross from France to the UK. 18 migrants were rescued and taken into care by rescue teams. During the night of March 9, one more migrant boat was reported to the CROSS Gris-Nez in the Dunkirk area, which dispatched the 'Minck' to monitor it and provide assistance if needed. Around 4:00 a.m., the boat's engine failed. The 'Minck's crew, already in contact with the boat, rescued the 28 occupants. They took the empty boat in tow and then headed towards the port of Dunkirk, where the migrants were taken into care by the rescue teams ashore.
Ridens rescued 21 migrants in two missions
On March 6, several departures of migrant boats were reported to the CROSS Gris-Nezin the Strait of Dover To monitor the boats, the following resources were deployed by the CROSS Gris-Nez: - the rescue ships 'Minck' and 'Ridens'; - the emergenvy tug 'Abeille Normandie'; - the BSAA 'Argonaute'. At approximately 3:40 a.m., a migrant boat that had departed from Belgium was reported to CROSS Gris-Nez by the MRCC Ostend. It was monitored by Belgian vessels ready to provide assistance if necessary. At approximately 3:50 a.m., the boat entered the French SAR zone. At approximately 4:10 a.m., dispatched by the CROSS, the 'Ridens' relieved the Belgian vessels. At approximately 6:00 a.m., near the beach at Gravelines, another group of migrants boarded the boat . At approximately 8:00 a.m., the 'Ridens' rescued one of the occupants who had requested assistance. At approximately 9:00 a.m., the 'Argonaute' relieved the 'Ridens' in its surveillance and security mission, allowing it to reach the port of Dunkirk. The rescued person was disembarked at approximately On March 7, 2026, several more departures of migrant boats were reported to the CROSS Gris-Nez in the Strait of Dover. To monitor the boats, the 'Minck', ''Ridens', 'Abeille Normandie and the VSMP 'Rondache' were deployed. Around 9:30 a.m., the Northern Fire and Rescue Operations Center (CODIS 59) reported to CROSS the presence of a migrant boat in the Malo-les-Bains area (59). The CROSS deployed the 'Ridens' to monitor it, ready to provide assistance if necessary by using its Operational Drôme Craft (EDO). Between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., the 'Ridens' rescued 20 people who successively requested assistance. Around 7:50 p.m., the 'Abeille Normandie' relieved the 'Ridens' in its monitoring mission to allow it to reach the port of Calais. The rescued migrants were disembarked around 8:40 p.m. and taken into the care of the state's land-based services.
61 migrants rescued near Dunkirk
On Jan 28, at around 11.20 p.m. a migrant boat departure was reported to the CROSSGris-Nez in the Dunkirk area by the Dunkirk signal station. The 'Ridens' was deployed to the scene, and on Jan 29 at around 2:00 a.m., the boat, which was overloaded and unsuitable for such a crossing, suffered an engine failure. The 'Ridens' launched its rescue boat and, noting that many migrants were not wearing life jackets, distributed them to everyone. At approximately 3:35 a.m., the crew of the 'Ridens' rescued the 61 people aboard the still-struggling boat, before disembarking them at the port of Dunkirk, where they cared for by shore-based teams.

During the night of Jan 18 and on Jan 19, several departures of migrant boats were reported to the CROSS Gris-Nez in the Strait of Dover. In order to monitor the boats, the following resources were deployed by CROSS Gris-Nez: - the hydrographic survey vessel (BH) 'Lapérouse'; -the rescue vessels 'Minck' and 'Ridens'; - the patrol boat (VCSM) 'Oyapock'; - the rigid inflatable boat 'ESMP 04' from the Dunkirk Maritime Gendarmerie; - the patrol boat DFP1 'Jacques Oudart Fourmentin'; - the lifeboat 'Notre Dame des Flandres-SNS 276' of the SNSM station in Graveline; - the hydrography survey vessel 'BH LA´pérouse -A 791'. On Jan 19 at approximately 5:45 a.m., the 'Ridens' reported a makeshift boat in the Malo-les-Bains area. The CROSS deployed the 'Ridens', which launched its RIB to monitor the boat, which headed towards a group of migrants waiting on the beach to board, which began around 7:00 a.m. During this phase, the RIB rescued three migrants, who were first transferred to the 'Ridens' and then to the 'ESMP 04', to be taken back to the port of Dunkirk, where they were dropped off at around 12:30 p.m. Meanwhile, the 'Ridens' and its RIB continued to monitor the migrant boat heading out to sea. It was taken into custody by British resources at around 2:30 p.m. At around 8:00 a.m., another migrant boat was reported by the Dunkirk semaphore off the Braek breakwater. The CROSS Gris-Nez deployed the 'Oyapock', which quickly relocated it. At around 9:20 a.m., the 'Oyapock' rescued eight migrants, who were requesting assistance. The remaining occupants of the boat refused the offered assistance and continued on their way. At around 10:15 a.m., the 'Lapérouse' was dispatched by CROSS to relieve the 'Oyapock', which was to disembark the eight migrants rescued on board. However, given the rapidly deteriorating condition of the precarious boat, which still carried the majority of the group of migrants, the 'Lapérouse' launched its own boat to assist the 'Oyapock' and rescue all the migrants, who were now requesting assistance from the state resources. On Jan 17 at approximately 6:00 a.m., the Dunkirk signal station was informed of a migrant boat launching in the Malo-les-Bains areaThe CROSS deployed the 'ESMP 04' to monitor the boat, which was subsequently relieved by the 'Ridens'. During the morning, the boat encountered difficulties due to a loss of buoyancy, and several people fell into the water. The 'Ridens' immediately launched its dinghy to provide assistance. Once the castaways were safely recovered, other occupants of the boat also requested to be rescued. In total, the 'Ridens' took 44 people on board and then headed towards Calais to disembark them at the dock at 5.30 a.m. The remaining occupants of the boat refused the offered assistance and continued on their way, under the surveillance of the 'Oyapock'. , On Jan 18, at around 12:30 a.m., the police reported to the CROSS the embarkation of migrants in the Malo-les-Bains area The CROSS again deployed the 'Ridens' to the position, which had also been reported by the Dunkirk signal station. Around 2:30 a.m., using its rigid inflatable boat, the 'Ridens' rescued three migrants who had requested assistance. The remaining occupants of the vessel refused to the offered assistance and continued on their way. Around 11:30 a.m., the three rescued were disembarked at the port of Dunkirk, where they were taken into the care of the state's land-based services. On the whole, the CROSS deployed state resources to respond to eight departures of boats attempting to cross from France to the United Kingdom. 47 migrants were rescued.
44 migrants rescued in several missions
During the day and the night of Jan 14, 2026, several departures of migrant boats were reported to the CROSS Gris-Nez. To monitor the boats, the following resources were deployed by CROSS Gris-Nez: the rescue ships 'Minck' and 'Ridens', the hydrographic survey vessel 'Lapérouse', the 'ESMP 04' and 'Rondache' of the Dunkirk Maritime Gendarmerie's Maritime and Port Security, the customs patrol boat 'Jacques Oudart Fourmentin', the surveillance vessel 'Oyapock', and the lifeboat 'SNS 087-Jean Bart II' of the Dunkirk SNSM station. At around 12:30 a.m., a police patrol and the Dunkirk semaphore station reported the departure of a migrant boat in the Malo-les-Bains area. The CROSS Gris-Nez dispatched the 'Ridens' to monitor the situation. After several hours at sea, some of the boat's occupants accepted the assistance offered by the 'Ridens', which took on board nine migrants. The remaining occupants wished to continue their crossing. Given the physical condition of the people rescued, and following a situation assessment with the Maritime Medical Coordination Center SAMU in Le Havre, it was decided to transfer them to the 'Jean Bart II' for rapid disembarkation at the port of Dunkirk, where they were cared for by the Departmental Fire and Rescue Service of the Nord. Around 6:00 a.m., a merchant ship detected a migrant boat near the entrance to Dunkirk West port. The CROSS Gris-Nez deployed the 'Oyapock' to monitor the situation. Around 7:30 a.m., the ship rescued 15 migrants and disembarked them at the port of Dunkirk at around 9:00 a.m. One of them was taken into the care of the SDIS 59. Meanwhile, those who remained on board the vessel did not continue their crossing attempt and returned to shore on their own, while the 'ESMP 04' and the 'Rondache' were monitoring the area. The 'Ridens' then rescued 20 other migrants requesting assistance. On Dec 13, 2025, several departures of migrant boats were reported to the CROSS Gris-Nez n the Strait of Dover. To monitor the boats, the following resources were deployed by CROSS Gris-Nez: The "Minck" and "Ridens"; the "VB Abeille Normandie". the "Lapérouse" and "Thétis" as well as a Dauphin helicpter of the French Navy. the lifeboats 'SNS 276-Notre-Dame des Flandres', 'SNS 087-Jean Bart II', 'SNS 7-035-Reuze' and 'SNS 077-Notre-Dame du Risban', the surveillance vessel "Oyapock", the patrol boat "Ouranos" as well as the 'ESMP 03' and 'ESMP 04' from Calais and Dunkirk amd am Air Environment Action Aircraft chartered by the State. Around 8:15 a.m., a witness reported the departure of a migrant boat in the Leffrinckoucke area. The 'SNS 087' and the 'SNS 7-035' were dispatched by the CROSS to monitor the boat. Around 9:40 a.m., the 'SNS 7-035' rescued one migrant who requested assistance and took him to the port of Dunkirk, where he was met by a vehicle from the Departmental Fire and Rescue Service. The 'SNS 087' and the "Lapérouse" took turns monitoring the vessel until it was taken into care by the British services. Around 10:50 a.m., witnesses teported the departure of a migrant boat in the Sangatte area. The "VB Abeille Normandie" and the 'SNS 077' were dispatched by the CROSS to monitor the boat. Around 11:30 a.m., four people fell into the water. The 'SNS 077' immediately recovered two people, while the other two were rescued by the "VB Abeille Normandie'. During the transit, a conference call was established with the Maritime Medical Coordination Center. The four people were taken into care by the Departmental Fire and Rescue Service of Pas-de-Calais at around 12:25 p.m. The "VB Abeille Normandie" continued to monitor the migrant boat until it was taken into care by the British services. At 2:14 p.m., the gendarmerie reported the departure of a migrant boat in the Grand Fort Philippe channel. The "Ridens" was dispatched by the CROSS to monitor the vessel. Around 10:20 p.m., following an engine failure, the "Ridens" rescued 28 migrants who were requesting assistance. The boat eventually restarted the engine and was taken into custody by British resources around 11:40 p.m. The migrants rescued by the "Ridens" disembarked around 2:20 a.m. at the port of Calais and were taken into the care of land-based rescue services.
24 migrants rescued off Petit-fort-Philippe
On the morning of Oct 22, 2025, the CROSS Gris-Nez was notified of the departure of several migrant boats in the Strait of Dover amd deployed the PSP "Pluvier", "Minck" and "Ridens". The "Ridens" was deployed to monitor one of the boats, which was located off the coast of Petit-fort-Philippe. The overloaded inflatable boat was in a worryingly fragile condition with a weakened floor and partially deflated tubes. TheCROSS then deployed the "Pluvier" to reinforce surveillance of the boat. On the late afternoon, the "Pluvier" and the "Ridens" launched their boats and rescued 24 people. The other migrants refused the assistance offered by resources, which maintained their surveillance until British rescue services took over. The "Pluvier" docked in Calais on the evening to disembark the rescued migrants, whjo were taken into care by the government emergency services.
Hundreds of migrants rescued by French resources
Since Oct 17, everal assistance and rescue operations were coordinated by the CROSS Gris-Nez R to assist migrant boats. On the morning of Oct17, shore based patrols reported the departure of a migrant boat in the Baie de Somme. The CROSS engaged the 'Abeille Normandie' and the Action Air Environnement border police aircraft for an SAR operation. The 'Abeille Normandie' rescued all 81 people on board the boat. They were disembarked at the Quai de l'Europe in Boulogne-sur-Mer and taken into care by government services on land. At the same time, the CROSS was notified aobut the departure of a boat from Berck-sur-Mer and deployed the 'Garonne' of the rench Navy along with the border police's Action Air Environnement surveillance aircraft to conduct a visual surveillance of the boat. The boat, with 21 people on board, headed towards the Equihen-Plage, where it embarked more people. Due to engine damage, the migrants requested rescue by the 'Garonne', which retrieved all 80 people on board. They were dropped off during the mid-afternoon at the port of Boulogne-sur-Mer. where they were taken into care by government services. On the evening of Oct 17, the CROSS engaged the 'Minck' and the border police surveillance aircraft to locate a boat in the Slack dunes area. Once in the area, the 'Minck' monitored the boat. Following a request for assistance from some of the boat's occupant, the ship picked up 24 people on board. They were dropped off at the Paul Devot quay in Calais in the middle of the night. The remaining occupants of the boat, refusing the assistance offered by the 'Minck', continued on their way to the United Kingdom, On the morning of Oct 18, the CROSS Gris-Nez was notifired about the presence of a migrant boat in the Petit-Fort-Philippe area and deployed the 'Ridens' toi the area. Following the sudden deflation of the rubber boat, the 'Ridens' launched its operational rescue boat (EDO) and rescued 25 people. The remaining occupants refused the assistance offered by the 'Ridens', which remained nearby. Two of the rescued people on board required medical assistance. The CROSS engaged the Maritime and Port Security Vessel 'ESMP 03' of the Maritime Gendarmerie in Calais to transfer them from the 'Ridens' and bring them back to the dock at the Paul Devot pontoon in Calais, while the 'Ridens' continued its surveillance. It then also returned to Calais to disembark the remaining migrants, who were taken into care by the State emergency services.
10 boats assisted during attempts to cross to the UK, one teenager died
On Sep 28, the CROSS Gris-Nez was alerted to the departure of several boats carrying migrants from various points along the coasts of Nord, Pas-de-Calais and Seine-Maritime. The ''Laplace', the 'Flamant', the 'Minck' and 'Ridens', the 'Jacques Oudart Fourmentin', the 'SNS 7-034 Notre-Dame des Sables' the semi rigtid 'Quartier-maître Gilbert Vandenberghede'from the SNSM station in Cayeux-sur-Mer, the 'SNS 067 Mona Rigolet', the 'Maroni', the patrol vessel 'Géranium , the semi rigid 'Ouranos'', a Dauphin helicopter of the French Navy base in Le Touquet, and a S100 drone of the European Maritime Safety Agency (EMSA) were deployed. During the night of Sep 27, a land patrol of the internal security forces reported a boat carrying migrants off the beach at Equihen. The 'Minck' was deployed by the CROSS,and arrived at the area. During the crossing, a propulsion failure forced the migrants to request assistance from the 'Minck', which immediately came to their assistance. The 50 occupants of the boat were taken aboarded by the 'Minck' and brought to Boulogne-sur-Mer, where they were taken care of by border police and civil protection teams. At around 4:30 a.m., the CROSS was alerted that a group of migrants were crossing by sea off the coast of Dieppe. The'SNS 067 Mona Rigolet' was engaged and relocated the boat with the support of the Dieppe signaling system. The RIB from the Cayeux-sur-Mer SNSM station, 'Quartermaster Gilbert Vandenberghe', and then the customs patrol boat took turns monitoring the boat as it sailed north along the coast. At 2:25 p.m., the boat headed north of Stella beach to take on board more migrants. After the boarding was completed, ther boat headed toward the UK waters, and the patrol boat announced that it had rescued one injured person. After a medical teleconference, the decision was made to evacuate the injured to Boulogne-sur-Mer for medical treatment. The patrol boat was relieved by the 'Géranium' and then by the 'Minck' to monitor the boat as it continued its journey. On Sep 28 at 6:20 a.m., a land patrol reported to the CROSS a boat carrying migrants that had just left Ecault beach and was experiencing navigational difficulties. The 'Jacques Oudart Fourmentin' was deployed by the CROSS. At 7:00 a.m., the gendarmerie's land patrol announced that the boat had just docked on the beach and dropped off 49 of its occupants. Numerous cases of hypothermia and one teenager found unconscious were treated by the firefighters of the SDIS 62. The teenager was later declared dead by the medical services. At 7:47 a.m., the lightened boat headed back out to sea. The Dauphin helicopter and the 'Maroni' were engaged by the CROSS and relocated it with the assistance of the Boulogne-sur-Mer semaphore station off Cap d'Alprec'h. The 'Maroni' monitored the boat until its occupants were rescued by the British authorities. Around 8:30 a.m., a boat was reported to the CROSS leaving from Leffrinckoucke beach. The Dunkirk semaphore spotted the boat heading towards the beach at Malo-les-Bains where a new group of migrants was waiting. The ' Ridens' was engaged by the CROSS. At 9:40 a.m., the boat headed towards the UK. The 'Ridens' signaled to the CROSS that around ten people had been dropped off on the Braek sea wall and that it had recovered one person suffering from hypothermia. At 2:30 p.m., the 'Ridens' went to the aid of the boat with engine failure and, in several rounds, recovered 66 people on board, among them 34 men, 28 women and four children, The dDisembarkation was planned at Calais and one injured person required medical treatment. The CROSS deployed the 'Flamant' to monitor the remaining occupants of the boat as they continued their journey to the UK.
83 migrants rescued in numerous responses
On Aug 10, several assistance and rescue operations were conducted by the CROSS Gris-Nez to assist migrant boats. On the early morning, theCROSS was alerted that a migrant boat had suffered an engine failure in the Leffrinckoucke area and depliyed the 'Ridens' to monitor the boat. A few hours later, some migrants reported that the boat had broken down and requested assistance. The 'Ridens'rescued 59 people. Several people still on board the boat refused the assistance offered by French resources and continued on their way. The people rescued by the 'Ridens' were then dropped off at the quay in Calais. On the same morning, two people were rescued aboard two different boats following requests for assistance. The first person, rescued by the intervention, 'Abeille Normandie', was dropped off at the quayside in Calais. The other person, rescued by the 'Minck', was dropped off at Gravelines. Later, another migrant boat was reported leaving the Bay of Somme. The CROSS then engaged the patrol boat 'Entre deux baies' from the SNSM station in Fort-Mahon-Plage to monitor the boat, which then suffered an engine failure. With the support of the 'SNS-511-Sainte-Blaise' from the SNSM station in Cayeux-sur-Mer, all 22 occupants of the boat were brought ashore in Cayeux-sur-Mer to be taken care of by land-based services. A total of 83 people were rescued by the State emergency services.
78 migrants rescued off Dunkirk
On the night of Aug 15, the CROSS Gris-Nez was alerted by a land patrol to the departure of a migrant boat in the Dunkirk port area and deployed the 'Ridens' to monitor the boat. During the monitoring, the boat suffered engine failure. All 78 people on board requested assistance. The crew of the 'Ridens' took the migrants on board. They were disembarked at the quay in Calaisand taken into care by the rescue services on land.
55 migrants rescued in two missions
On the night of July 28, the CROSS Gris-Nez was alerted to the departure of several migrant boats off the coast of Nord and Pas-de-Calais and deployed the 'Ridens' to monitor a boat off the coast of Petit Fort Philippe. During the monitoring, several people aboard the boat requested assistance. The 'Ridens' then launched its operational drom boat (EDO). Once on site, the crew rescued all 40 people on board. The migrants were dropped off at the quay in Calais on the morning of July 29. On July 29, the patrol vessel 'Flamant' was deployed to monitor a second boat that had left the Aa Canal. Once in the area, the 'Flamant' launched its EDO and began monitoring the boat. Following requests for assistance from some migrants, the crew rescued a total of 15 people. The remaining occupants of the boat refused the offered assistance and continued on their way. The people rescued by the 'Flamant' were dropped off at the quay in Calais in the late afternoon. Thus, a total of 55 people were rescued and taken into care by government resources.
45 migrants rescued in several missions
On July 27, numerous migrant boat departures were reported to the CROSS Gris-Nez. In the middle of the night, the departure of a boat was reported to the CROSS in the area of Petit Fort Philippe. The CROSS deployed the 'Ridens' to monitor the boat. Once on site, the crew rescued 32 people. Several people still on board the boat refused the assistance offered by French resources and continued on their way. The people rescued by the 'Ridens' were then dropped off at the quay in Calais. Early in the day, a boat was reported to CROSS Gris-Nez, which deployed the 'Jaqcues Oudart Fourmentin' to locate and monitor the boat. After several hours of navigation, the CROSS engaged the patrol boat 'Pluvier' to the scene, which assisted four people from the boat. On the night of July 13, two migrant boat departures were reported to the CROSS Gris-Nez Regional. The first migrant boat was reported off Blériot beach in the middle of the night. The CROSS depolyed the 'Cormoran' to monitor the boat. After several hours of navigation and facing changing weather conditions, several people aboard the boat requested assistance. The 'Cormoran' launched its operational drome boat (EDO) to make contact. After an initial refusal of assistance, the EDO rescued seven people, and then continued to monitor the boat, which continued its voyage towards British waters with the remaining occupants having refused assistance. Once they had been taken into care by British resources, the 'Cormoran' was engaged in a second reported departure of migrants in the Hemmes-de-Marck area. The CROSS Gris-Nez also deployed the Schiebel S100 drone and the 'Ridens'. Faced with a breakdown in their boat, all migrants requested assistance and were rescued by the EDOs of the 'Cormoran' and the 'Ridens'. In addition to the seven migrants rescued earlier, the Cormoran recovered 41 people, while 26 migrants were picked up by the 'Ridens'.

In response to a request for assistance from people on board the boat, the ÄRidens' recovered five people and continued to monitor the boat, which continued its voyage towards British waters, with the remaining occupants having refused all assistance. Subsequently, the 'Ridens' rescued another three migrants requesting assistance. The eight migrants were then disembarked in Calais in the mid-afternoon of July 10, where they were cared for by land-based rescue services. From the night of June 20, 2025, to June 21, numerous migrant boat departures were reported to the CROSS Gris-Nez. First, the departure of a boat was reported to the CROSS in the Cayeux-sur-Mer area. The "SNS 708 - Quartier Maître Gilbert Vandenberghe" from the Cayeux-sur-Mer SNSM station was deployed aling with the semi-rigid boat "SNS 7-034 Notre Dame des Sables" from the Berck-sur-Mer SNSM station. Once on site, the tug reported the poor condition of the boat, which was beginning to break up, and launched its two rubber boats, which recovered all 77 people from the boat. The castaways were dropped off at the port of Boulogne-sur-Me, where they were taken into care by the land authorities. 78 migrants rescued off Malo-les-Bains
On June 18, at around 5:00 a.m., the 'Ridens' reported a migrant boat in distress to the CROSS Gris-Nez off the coast of Malo-les-Bains, and it was closely monitoring the vessel. The overloaded dinghy broke up in the open sea, amidst the sandbanks off Dunkirk. The CROSS Gris-Nez immediately deployed the resources of the 'Ridens' and the SNSM, including the RHIB 'SNS 035 Reuze' and the lifeboat SNS 087 Jean-Bart II' to assist. The 'Ridens' quickly rescued 23 people, the 'SNS 035' six people, and the'Jean Bart II' 49 people. A doctor, a volunteer SNSM member aboard the lifeboat, provided first aid to three victims. A total of 78 people were rescued. Around 10:00 a.m., all migrants were disembarked at the port of Dunkirk at 10 a.m., to be treated by shore based rescue services. The three injured people were taken to hospital: two with severe hypothermia and one suffering from a hemorrhaging leg. At the same time, the CROSS Gris-Nez deployed a Dauphin helicopter of the French Navy, based in Le Touquet, to conduct search operations, in support of the nautical resources on site, including the French Navy's hydrographic vessel, the 'Lapérouse'. Following the search, which was coordinated by the CROSS Gris-Nez, with no other shipwrecked people reported, the Maritime Prefect of the Channel and North Sea ended the SAR operation.

On the night of June 12 and on June 13, numerous migrant boat departures were reported to the CROSS Gris-Nez. On the evening the CROSS was informed by the police that a migrant boat off Slack Beach was showing signs of difficulty. In coordination with land-based services, the CROSS deployed several resources, including the French Navy's Dauphin helicopter based in Le Touquet and resources from the SDIS 62 to locate and rescue the boat people. In coordination with the MRCC in Dover, a British aircraft was also diverted to participate in the search. However, once in the area, the resources did not report the presence of any boat in the water and therefore were stood down. Secondly, a floating but unpowered boat was spotted by land services off Pointe aux Oies. The CROSS engaged the 'Abeille Normandie', which confirmed the boat was adrift with three people on board. The emergeny tug rescued the migrants, who were taken to Boulogne-sur-Mer and taken into care by land-based rescue services. Later that night, a second boat requested assistance off Audresselles. The CROSS engaged the French Navy's hydrographic survey vessel 'Laplace', which joined the boat. Four of its occupants requested assistance, They were picked up and taken in Calais. The remaining migrants on the migrant boat refused any assistance and continued on their way. During the same night, another boat was reported in difficulty off the coast of Gravelines.
