Worker crushed to death
On June 8, 2020, around 2 p.m. a fatal work accident occurred aboard the 'Argos Vigo' in the port of Vigo. A 53-year-old worker has died after being crushed by one of the hatches of the ship on which he was carrying out repair works. It was docked in the port since May 25. For reasons under investigation, a hatch of considerable weight fell upon him. An ambulance, several units of the National Police and the Local Police of Vigo, as well as the firefighters from Vigo attended the scene at the Pereira pier.
