Navis-1

The 'Navis 1' was detained in Izmir following a detailed inspection by the Mediterranean MoU on March 3, 2026. The inspectors found three deficiencies. They examined the accommodation and the galley, the cargo holds, the engine room, the navigation bridge and outside decks. Operational controls were reviewed, including communication equipment, emergency fire pump and emergency generator tests, and fire and oil filtering drills. The ship left the port again on March 4, next destined to the Russian port of Yeisk with an ETA as of March 9.

The Libyan National Army (LNA) Sousse Marine seized the 'Navis-1' in position 32 59 00N, 022 05 38E, about six miles northwest of Ras el Hilal on JAn 31, 2021, at 1 p.m. The vessel was detained for breaching the Libyan "No Sail Zone" (NSZ). It was en route from Tarragona to Damietta and escorted to the Ras el Hilal anchorage for administrative procedures.
