Norway's Knutsen OAS Shipping has received permission from Russian authorities for transportation of LNG to Japan on the Northern Sea Route. The 6898dwt Ribera Duero Knutsen might be the first tanker to ship Norwegian LNG from Hammerfest to Asia via the northern shipping lane, Knutsen’s Nils Kristian Strøm and Synnøve Seglem told the Skipsrevyen in a recent interview.
