The "APL Los Angeles" arrived at Luoyuan on nov 5, 2018, at 10.15 p.m. The ship had run aground whilst departing Fuqing Port, Fuzhou City, on Sep 22. It was refloated on Sep 25 with hull damages.

The Maritime Prefecture of the Atlantic informs that Tuesday, Aprilon Apr 12, 2016 at 10.25 p.m. notified the CROSS Corsen after a Ukrainian crew member of the "MSC Los Angeles" suffered burned legs by boiling water. The master requested a medical evacuation. Following a conference call with the Maritime Coordination Centre (MMCC) of Toulouse, the maritime medical coordination (SCMM) of Finistère and the ship, the decision was made to evacuate the patient by helicopter to the hospital La Cavale Blanche in Brest, and the CROSS then alerted a Cayman helicopter of the naval aviation base Lanvéoc. The container ship was 37,5 nautical miles north of the island of Ouessant. The helicopter took off at 11.18 p.m. with a medical team on board and reached the ship at 11.39 p.m. The Patient was supported by the medical team on the ship before being hoisted aboard the Cayman. The helicopter then headed for the Hospital, and on Apr 13 at 1.04 a.m. he was taken over by hospital staff.
